Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer to support our cloud infrastructure and backend services development. You will help build and manage AWS resources using AWS CDK (TypeScript) and contribute to Python-based backend services, collaborating closely with DevOps, backend,and data teams. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of AWS who’s eager to grow in both cloud and software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure (CDK in TypeScript)

  • Assist in defining and deploying cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK
  • Manage core AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, VPC, ECS, etc.
  • Write reusable CDK constructs and modules
  • Support monitoring, alerting, and logging (e.g., CloudWatch, X-Ray)

Backend Support(Python)

  • Collaborate with backend developers to deploy Python-based Lambda functions or containerized services
  • Understand and troubleshoot Python application environments in the cloud
  • Contribute to testing and CI/CD pipelines for Python-based services

DevOps & Cloud Operations

  • Assist in maintaining secure, reliable, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across development and staging environments
  • Document infrastructure, service behavior, and deployment processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience on AWS.
  • Foundational knowledge of AWS services (IAM, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Basic experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience writing Python applications or scripts
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows
  • Strong willingness to learn new tools and AWS best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
